Qualifying elementary, middle and high schools are eligible to receive up to $200 for waste reduction equipment or educational materials. Funds are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis beginning September 1st. All grant requests should be consistent with SWANCC’s goal of encouraging the practice of waste reduction by reducing the amount of generated waste materials, also known as source reduction, and recycling as much of the remaining waste stream as possible.
