SWANCC’s transfer station in Glenview, Illinois processes over 300,000 tons of solid waste, landscape waste and recyclables every year. Solid waste from the 23 member communities is brought to the transfer station and loaded into fully enclosed semi-trailers for the trip to the landfill – saving time, fuel and reducing air pollution.

Cleaning out your basement or attic? Doing some home improvements? Residents can also bring refuse and debris to the transfer station. The charge is $66.50 per ton with a $33.25 minimum, or bring your white goods to the transfer station for a $25.00 charge.

You will be required to unload your own vehicle. Only major credit cards are acceptable for payment. Absolutely no Household Chemical Waste will be accepted.

Hours:

Monday - Friday – 6:00 am to 4:00 pm

Saturday – 6:00 am to 12:00 pm

Sunday – Closed

Rates:

Residential Waste – $66.50 per ton ($33.25 minimum)

White Goods – $25.00 per item (refrigerator, washer, dryer, etc.)

Household Chemical Waste is NOT accepted at the Glenview Transfer Station.

The Glenview Transfer Station is located on the east side of Des Plaines River Road, just north of Central Road, directly across the street from Maryville Academy.
