PLEASE NOTE: This program is no longer available. It is set to reconvene in the spring. SWANCC does not have a facility for residents to drop off their computer or electronic materials for recycling.

SWANCC is dedicated to providing resources and programs to assist residents with reusing, recycling or disposing of waste in an environmentally-friendly manner.

Even though residents can dispose of computers and electronics in the garbage, SWANCC encourages recycling or donating materials to reduce waste and potentially harmful materials going to landfills as much as possible - whenever possible.

SWANCC’s At Home Computer Pick-Up Program is available to all SWANCC-area residents

The cost for this convenient program is only $25.00 for up to 6 items. Cell phones and calculators do not count as an "item." Simply call or e-mail athome@swancc.org SWANCC to schedule a pick-up and then put your items out on the assigned pick-up day. It’s that easy!

To be eligible to participate you must:

• Live in a SWANCC member community

• Have street level access to front door.

All materials in SWANCC’s program will be dismantled domestically and recycled by an ISO 14001 and 9001 certified contractor. Due to these recycling efforts, natural resources and energy are conserved, materials are recovered or disposed of in a safe manner as well as landfill space saving.
